So it was back on the 7th of July 2018 that these pair of lovers first laid eyes on each other.  Partying on the dance floor after the Caboolture Rodeo Beau and Chelsea locked eyes in what could only be described as one of those movie moments….you know the one,  guy is checking girl out on dance floor while girl is checking guy out and then their eye’s meet and then the world stands still, like they are the only people in the room, nothing else matters.  Then the guy slowly walks over to girl while girl walks slowly over to guy……..record screech!  While the first part of the movie moment is true the second not so much, there was no slow walk towards each other instead Beau sends his cousin to do the dirty work and say “Hey, my cousin thinks your pretty cute” and after making sure that the cousin was who Chelsea thought he was Chelsea admitted that she thought Beau was pretty cute too!  They were introduced to each other, slow danced the night away and the rest as they say is history.

 

Fast forward almost 5 years and we find Chelsea and Beau with two beautiful boys and on the 18th March 2023 they made it all official by marrying at the beautiful Dusty Hill Vineyard. It was a beautiful albeit hot March day.  So hot and sunny in fact that Beau had to wear his sunglasses!  This may have been strategic as this big tough guy who likes to keep his emotions to himself admitted later that he may have teared up a little behind the safety of those glasses.  

 

Now for a guy who hates being in front of a camera and showing public displays of affection, Beau totally nailed the wedding portraits.  There were lots of laughs which was a highlight of the wedding for Chelsea.  After every photo Beau would tease me and say “So that’s it??”, or he would teasingly groan every time I asked him to kiss Chelsea. 

I did ask Chelsea if she had any advice for her pre-wedding self and she said “Make sure you allow time to look at yourself in the mirror after you get dressed, before you get ready to go”…..wise words.
